Gregg received his BA from Texas A&M University in 1983. He was employed by Mckesson Chemical in 1983-1984, and Mooney Chemicals in 1985-1987. He founded GE Chaplin in 1988. In 2001 Gregg purchased QCR-USA, Inc., a global import company specializing in metal inorganic chemicals imported from Europe and Asia.

Brent Chaplin joined GE Chaplin in March of 2020. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with honors in Accounting with a minor in Economics in 2011, and a Master’s Degree in taxation in 2012. Brent spent a total of 6 years in Big 4 and regional public accounting with a focus on closely held businesses and individual taxation. He spent the last 1.5 years as a wealth advisor, working on a team managing over $400 million in assets for high net worth families. Brent currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife.

Betsy Childs joined GEC in September 2019, after 25 years of managing the offices of Copper Hill Country Club in NJ. She graduated from Rider University with a BS in Business Administration. Betsy’s responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable from our NJ offices.

Scott Zickel joined GE Chaplin after thirteen years with OMG, a leading organic and inorganic specialty chemical company focused on the catalyst, hard metal, chemical, inks, paint and coatings markets. Scott is an Air Force Veteran and Graduate of Southern Illinois University. Scott handles Organic and Inorganic product lines, and is responsible for managing the Dynamic Polymers division. He is located in the Cleveland, OH area and travels throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Luis joined GE Chaplin in June 2018 as Global Director of New Product Development to grow its global plastics additives business. He graduated from Guadalajara University with a Bachelor's degrees, and an MBA from Ashland University. Prior to joining GE Chaplin, he held Business and Market development positions with AM Stabilizers, Halstab, and OMG. Luis is located in Cleveland, and works out of the Medina, OH office. He travels throughout the US, Mexico, and Latin America.

His career in PVC resin began in 1988 with Borden Chemicals & Plastics where he spent 10 years in sales and sales management positions. Dean is located in the Philadelphia, PA area and travels throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Melvin joined GE Chaplin in 2015 to help expand and manage its growing rare earth business. Melvin is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he doubled majored in Economics and Mandarin. He completed a year of post-graduate study at the Harbin Institute of Technology, where he focused on Mandarin language studies and applied natural resource economics. Melvin’s background in the rare earth sector includes three years in research and analysis at Asian Metal as well as six years in global sales and procurement.
Bowen Teuscher

Bowen Teuscher joined GE Chaplin’s Rare Earth division in 2018 after working as a graduate research assistant at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies in Monterey, California. He was a graduate fellow at the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in the Hague, Netherlands. Bowen holds a B.A. in Russian & Eurasian Studies, and a B.A. in French from Colorado College, and also an M.A. in International Policy and Nonproliferation Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in Monterey, California. Primarily focused on Lanthanide products, Bowen is a fluent speaker of French and Russian, and also holds a US Coast Guard 100-ton captain’s license.

Prior to GE Chaplin, he worked for Occidental Petroleum, Textile Chemical, Crane Chempump, and Inland Leidy. He visits Haiti yearly with a non profit company working with orphanages.

Michael develops and maintains a large customer base from end use applications for rare earths. Primarily focused on Lanthanide products, Michael has expertise with a wide variety of other metals. He is located in the Toronto, ON area and travels throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to Grace, Walter worked in Chicago’s financial district at the Chicago Board of Options. His credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Walter works and resides in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area.
